On Tuesday, April 7, Southern Utah University’s Grace A. Tanner Center for Human Values welcomed Utah poet Laureate Lisa Bickmore for a poetry reading.

SUU Alumni Association offers free food around campus with Lunch on Main - SUU News

The free food and drinks were handed out at the Rotunda, Old Main, the Library, Old Sorrel, the Centurium and the ELC Patio. Hot dogs, popcorn, sandwiches and more were served.
With plates in hand, students weren’t missing the opportunity to get free launches and get their miles around campus. Besides the food,  participants were given a stamped passport at each station. SUU's 2026 Truth in Tuition public hearing is happening tomorrow - SUU News

Southern Utah University will host its 2026 Truth in Tuition hearing on Tuesday, March 3, at 3 p.m. at the Sharwan Smith Student Theater in Room 161. This annual meeting will determine tuition and fee adjustments for the upcoming academic year.
For the 2026–27 academic year, the proposed tuition increase ranges from 1.5% to 3%. If approved, full-time resident undergraduate students taking 15 credit hours would pay approximately $48 to $97 more per semester.

On Feb. 23, Southern Utah University turned back the clock to the golden age with the Student Programming Board’s Disney Dance. Latin Student Alliance to Protest ICE on SUU Campus - SUU News

Southern Utah University’s Latin Student Alliance will host a peaceful protest against the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The demonstration will take place on the library quad from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I wrote and published over 80 articles, covered campus events, conducted interviews, and edited my colleagues’ work, growing from reporter in September 2024 to Life Section Editor in August 2025 within the same newsroom. i'm the first international student to occupy thispostion ans i couldn't be more proud because  I’m dedicated to what I am doing and am ready to learn and try to achieve my lifelong dream.
